Do you think you might be doing something to turn men off, but you’re not sure?  Have you noticed the way they come up to you easily enough, but are quick to lose interest and walk away?  Is it time you gave yourself an evaluation to see what you’re doing wrong?  Many women make the same mistakes and this article will help you spot them and change them so that the next man who comes up to talk to you actually sticks around to get to know you better.

Whether you’re fresh out of a relationship or have been single for a while, don’t bring up boyfriends of the past.  Even if you feel a need to rant or get off your chest how horrible he was, this new guy isn’t interested in hearing about it.  And if your ex was great, going on and on about how wonderful he was isn’t going to do you any good either.  Leave him in the past and concentrate of the man in front of you.

Some women want to make it clear right from the start where they’re hoping the relationship will lead.  They don’t want to waste time with the guy who has no future so they spell out what they want.  You might be scaring away a few good men with this blatant honestly.  Give him a chance to warm up to you a bit.  Without having to say anything, you’ll see whether he’s going in the right direction or not.

And then there’s the topic of money.  Despite the great ambition of many career women, there are still a lot of us who are going out hoping to catch a windfall.  But asking him about his salary is such a huge faux pas, it’s no wonder he turns around and leaves.  You just look petty and unattractive.

The flip side of this is the successful woman who is eager to share with a new man just how successful she is.  It’s great that your career is advancing and your salary is up there in the six digits, but flaunting it might not be such a good idea.  Sure he’ll be pleased to see you can stand on your own two feet, but making a show of just how much you have will either garner you the man who’ll want to take advantage of your success or the resentment of an otherwise good man.

Avoid these deadly topics and your next conversation with a man should go smoothly.
